Main Door Vastu
The main door is the mouth of the house — it is where energy enters your home. In Vastu Shastra, the main entrance is considered the single most important element of any house. Even if the internal layout is not perfectly Vastu-compliant, a well-placed main door can compensate for many deficiencies.
Vastu divides each wall into 9 equal segments called "padas." Not all padas are equally auspicious for the main door. The selection of the right pada depends on which direction the house faces. A door placed in the wrong pada can bring obstacles, health issues, or financial difficulties.
